Can't to send emails

Hello to everyone, my FOSSBilling can't send email via Sendmail (PHP), SMTP, and all options…
Also, the message after clicking the "send a test email to administrators" button said that the e-mail was sent successfully, but not.

Hi there, the current versions of FOSSBilling mistakenly say the test email is sent correctly regardless of the outcome. We've corrected this in the development version, so the behavior will be changed in the next release.

In the meantime, you should check the error log under /data/log/php_error.log to actually see any errors that are occurring when you try to send an email. The error message there should give you an indication as to what the issue is.

Hello BelleNottelling I seen the logs, how can I skip the certificate validation? Or specify the method, maybe TLS and not SSL?

Unable to connect with STARTTLS specify port 25.

I would like to accept the certificate because the origin in unknow (is Cloudflare origin server certificate) I know that I can't use it in the email server without the enterprise plan, but… I didn't want to use a self-certified

Maybe I need to buy a trusted certificate to install in postfix.

Yup. We use the symfony/mailer package to send emails which doesn't give the ability to disable SSL entirely, so the best you can do without installing a valid certificate is to disable peer verification like @Anuril shared.

The link to the symfony docs gives some great info for advanced email transport configuration. Using a custom DSN you can even configure things like load-balancing and failover servers for high-availability.

I tried, but not working. Same error.

On iPhone mail all works and also in other email clients, but here no, because (I think) the certificate is not recognized by the FOSSBilling system.

But the certificate is installed on the mail server and works.

How can I accept the certificate? Or using the PHP native functions like to sendmail? Also, SendMail not working.
