I'm looking to replace BambooInvoice with a new system and am considering FOSSBilling. I have a test installation running and so far like what i see but want to see if what I have in mind is possible before I get to far and start digging around in the code and mess something up. I have a very limited knowledge of programming, but was able to figure it out for BambooInvoice so hopefully can do it again.
Two things i'd like to do is have Invoice number auto generate based on several values instead of the current Serie and number. MY current invoice number setup is Client ID+Date. I could use one of the existing fields or a custom field as the base to add the date to.
The other thing I need is custom due dates for some clients. For most my default 30 days works, but some bigger companies dictate 45-90 days and i just have to accept it if I want their business.
Would these things be possible with out breaking the whole system?
