Hello,

Is there any way to add custom fields for products?

I didn't find any custom fields (CF) for products in FOSSBilling.

We need to configure some products with CF facilities.

Most products have a predefined order form, preventing modifications directly in the forum.

For the few that don't, you are able to build a custom form using the custom form builder though.
As for the other ones the only existing option is to override the default order template with one that includes new forms.

If you're able to do so from within the UI, you'll see it like so:

Are custom form and custom fields the same?

I'm a little bit confused as the form is not visible for the specific products from the customer end.

Is this possible to show the fields from the client's end?

TIA

Hey there,

The order form is the list of fields that the client fills out when completing an order.
So by building a custom order form, you are creating your own custom fields for them to complete during the order process of a given product.
